needed a small diamond replaced in her eternity ring and was given a reasonable quote - cheaper than the cost of replacement - which was ideal as it obviously has sentimental value. the diamond was replaced quickly and it looks as though a very good job has done - we will certainly use the company again for future jewellery repairs.

Shaun | Bristol, Bristolto mend sterling silver necklace which has broken at clasp.
Carole | Denbigh, Denbighshirei have a tanzanite and diamond bracelet with a faulty clasp whuch needs to be replaced. i have only worn the bracelet once due to the fact it fell off my wrist so cannot risk it for fear of losing it. another jeweller has basically said that it cannot be repaired as the tanzanite could become damaged from heat of soldering iron and other equipment used for repair. the heat could possubly change the colour of stones or fracture or break them. i now have a bracelet i cannot wear because i will lose it and if i get it repaired it could be damaged rendering the bracelet damaged and devalued. as it wws a gift bought in mexico 3 yrs ago i cannot return it. is there anything i can do to resolve this dilemma and an alternative method to repair it without damaging it the other jeweller did not want to touch it with a barge pole
